Lukas Larsson posted on Erlang Forums about a new enhancement proposal, EEP-68, which aims to introduce a native JSON encoding and decoding library directly into Erlang/OTP. The proposal is currently under discussion, with the goal to roll out this new feature in the next Release Candidate and ultimately in OTP 27. Larsson encourages the Erlang community to provide their comments and suggestions on this proposal to help improve the final implementation.
